Forms of Payment

The Camel's Tassel accepts PayPal and other major credit cards to make purchases.  Sorry, no COD's or personal checks accepted at this time.   Please note that any item on this site is technically still available for sale and may be sold until payment is received.  In the rare event that the item you ordered is no longer unavailable, and no other like replacement is available, you will be issued a full refund.    

Shipping Policies

SHIPPING METHOD

All orders are shipped United States Postal Service (USPS), with tracking.  


WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP?    

Orders ship Monday through Friday and usually the same day the order is placed, but occasionally it may take up to 48 hours of receiving your order for it to be packaged and shipped.


ESTIMATED ARRIVAL TIMES

The Camel's Tassel utilizes USPS Retail Ground, with delivery in 2-8 business days.  Retail ground is reliable and economical and helps keep the cost of your purchase down.  The Camel's Tassel cannot guarantee when your order will arrive.  Consider shipping time provided as our best estimate of arrival date.  


HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?  

Shipping costs are based on weight and destination.  


MULTIPLE PRODUCT ORDERS  

For a multiple product order, we will make every attempt to ship all products contained in the order at the same time.       


DAMAGED OR UNDELIVERED ITEMS  

We carefully package and deliver all of our orders to the USPS.  The Camel's Tassel is not responsible for delays, mishandling, damage, or lost packages due to USPS handling.   If any item has been damaged in transit, or undelivered, please contact the USPS Claims Department at: https://about.usps.com/publications/pub370/pub370_v10_revision_012016_tech_013.htm and provide them with the tracking number you were emailed when your order was shipped.

The Camel's Tassel currently ships to all domestic states within the USA. 

Returns & Exchanges

YOUR SATISFACTION IS IMPORTANT

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, The Camel's Tassel will be happy to exchange it or give you a store credit. Sorry, all sales are final on clearance items and exchanges are only accepted with prior written authorization.  


WHAT TO DO IF THERE IS A PROBLEM

If there is a problem with your order, please notify us by email within seven (7) days of receiving your order. Any returned items must be accompanied by a copy of the receipt and in their original condition.  No exchange and/or store credit will be given for returns that are damaged due to customer’s return shipping.   Shipping costs for any returns or exchanges are solely the buyer’s responsibility - tracking is required, and insurance highly recommended.  If insurance is not purchased and USPS loses the package and we have not received it, there can be no exchange or credit. 


INADVERTENT SHIPPING ERRORS

Oooops!  In the unlikely event we ship you the wrong item to you, you will be reimbursed for the cost of shipping the return item back to us and we will also pay for the cost of reshipping the correct item back out to you.  Should this occur, simply drop us an email within seven (7) days and let us know so we can make things right. 

Vintage Textiles

Many of the vintage textiles and garments that The Camel’s Tassel offers are vintage (old and authentic and have been reconstructed from other old and authentic pieces).  Many of these hand-made items have been previously worn (and well-loved) by tribal or nomadic people and as such, inherently may have flaws.  There may be small stains, discoloration or fading, missing pieces, patches, holes/tears or hand stitching.  However, these imperfections do not diminish the beauty of the item.  In fact, it is these very flaws that enhance and add to the richness and story of each piece, and of course, their mystic.   If any of these things are of concern to you, please look closely at the photos. If after looking at the photos you have any additional questions, please message me before ordering.  We will be happy to answer any questions you may have.  Your satisfaction is important and we want you to be happy with your purchases.
